About Centrecare
Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.
The Service
Centrecare's Family and Accommodation Service provides support and medium-term housing for clients who are homeless (up to 12 months) and can also support clients to overcome the difficulties they may currently be experiencing in keeping a home.
This will include working with families, and women with children escaping domestic violence to ensure people who have experienced homelessness are effectively linked with mainstream services to address a range of issues including employment, health, financial management and social integration to achieve long term, secure, stable housing.
The Role
As Case Worker, your role will be assisting clients to address previous homelessness issues and to assist them to obtain and maintain long term stable accommodation options after exiting Centrecare's Family Accommodation Service.
