The Child and Parent Centre – Gosnells

The Child and Parent Centre – Gosnells is managed by Centrecare in partnership with Gosnells Primary School. The centre is located at Gosnells Primary School and is a vibrant, happy hub for families with children 0 to 8 years living in the community to meet specific needs, programs and services that support families and help children develop and learn during their early years.

The Role

Working in a small team, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries and attend to the general administrative duties of the Child and Parent Centre whilst providing support to the coordinator and other staff. We require someone with strong administrative skills who can easily engage with the community the moment they walk through the door.

  • Managing multiple calendars for appointment bookings
  • Answering calls promptly and in a courteous manner
  • In this busy and fast paced environment, you need to be able to handle multiple queries and follow procedures and policies as outlined.
  • Attend to general enquiries and provide assistance where possible.

About You

  • Diploma or Cert IV in Business or Business Administration or other relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service and reception support.
  • Ability to oversee the day-to-day operation of an office and associated equipment and supplies.
  • Proven administrative and data management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • High level of computer and digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to manage competing demands.
  • Commitment to professionalism, cultural awareness, confidentiality, and workplace health and safety.
  • WA Driver’s Licence.
  • National Police Certificate.
