Centrecare’s Child Parent Centre – East Maddington is seeking a Playgroup Leader to join our small, dedicated team in a rewarding part-time role. Working Tuesday to Thursday (from 8.30am to 3.30pm), this position offers excellent work-life balance while giving you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to early childhood development in the community.
About the Service
Conveniently located on the grounds of East Maddington Primary School, the Centre supports families with children aged 0 to 8 years, with a particular focus on children from birth to 4 years. We offer inclusive programs and services designed to support families and promote children’s growth and learning during their early years.
Open to all families across East Maddington and surrounding areas, our Centre is a warm, welcoming space where community connections are built, and children are set up for lifelong learning.
About the Role
In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating engaging and educational playgroup sessions that support young children’s development and wellbeing. You will work closely with families to build strong, trusting relationships and play a vital role in helping children transition into kindergarten with confidence. Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment will be central to your work, and you will collaborate regularly with team members, health professionals, and school staff to ensure families are well supported throughout their early years journey.
