About Centrecare
Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.
The Role
This role aims to provide short term support to young people aged 12-18 years, who are at risk of poor life outcomes living in the service area of Kalgoorlie, Coolgardie and Kambalda and is responsible for engaging and building relationships within the community to enable increased youth engagement with Centrecare services. A passion to work with young people taking on a case management approach of 10-12 clients at a time to engage them in, but not limited to, community events, schooling, family, recreation, art, sports and music.
To be successfully shortlisted you must be able to work flexible hours Monday to Friday as negotiated up to 8:30pm and have the ability to stay a maximum of 4 nights in the outreach community as required.
