About Centrecare
Centrecare is a not-for-profit organisation with over 300 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation and training services in over 11 locations across the Perth metropolitan, Goldfields and South West regions.
Centrecare, in partnership with Waalitj Foundation, will provide culturally and developmentally appropriate psychosocial, family, peer and other support services to at-risk children, young people and their families who have both mental health challenges and offending behaviours. The overall goal is to reduce the risk of reoffending in the context of mental illness in consultation and collaboration with other service providers, including the Child Adolescent Forensic Service (CAFS).
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Case Worker to support children, young people and their families working with the Child and Adolescent Forensic Service in the community or at Banksia Hill Detention Centre. The successful candidate will provide social, emotional, cultural, and/or mental health support to young people and their families through a case management model. The position is based in East Perth.
