About the Services
Centrecare’s Men’s Behaviour Change (MBC) provides services for men over 17 years of age, who have used domestic violence in their intimate relationship and wish to address their use of violence and destructive patterns in their lives and relationships.
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Facilitator to work directly with men who perpetrate family and domestic violence. In this outreach-based role, you will prioritise the safety and wellbeing of women and children affected by abuse, while supporting men to recognise and take responsibility for their behaviour.
As a Group Facilitator, your primary focus will be to engage men in Men’s Behaviour Change (MBC) programs. You will use a range of innovative and culturally appropriate strategies to encourage participation, build motivation for change, and promote accountability. This includes both one-to-one engagement and co-facilitation of group sessions, as well as participation in community activities designed to build trust and connection.
