The Role
Accounting Assistant role to assist the Finance Department in achieving its objectives by recording and maintaining the accounting records of the agency in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards and Finance procedures, the position requires adherence to strict reporting deadlines to the Chief Financial Officer. The role will also involve providing finance administration support across coordination of maintenance, purchasing, contractor management, insurance claims and related agency requirements.
